Performance by Andy Holden at the Kröller-Müller Museum

On Sunday 26 May, 2024, Andy Holden and his father Peter Holden, world-renowned ornithologist, will present the performance Lecture on Bird Song for the first time outside the UK at the Kröller-Müller Museum.

With audio clips, photographs, videos and musical instruments, you will hear and see how humankind has drawn inspiration from birdsong throughout history. Andy Holden’s artwork Natural Selection is on display in the exhibition The Wood for the Trees. His work is about respecting nature and taking responsibility by listening to birds both literally and figuratively.


Practical information
The performance is in English and takes place on Sunday 26 May from 15.00 to 16.00 hrs in the museum’s Van der Leeuwzaal. Tickets cost €5 and are available online.  You will also need a valid ticket for the museum and park.
