Klaas Kloosterboer at Museum Voorlinden, Wassenaar, NL

Work by Klaas Kloosterboer on view at Museum Voorlinden, Wassenaar, the Netherlands, 2025

Kloosterboer’s costume 14156 is included in I ❤️ New Work, an exhibition of recent acquisitions from the Voorlinden collection, on view through 7 September 2025. The presentation highlights artists whose work pushes the boundaries of painting and sculpture. Kloosterboer’s contribution—a dynamic composition of red enamel on linen—reflects his ongoing exploration of materiality, gesture, and abstraction.

Klaas Kloosterboer will also take part in Kite Club, an outdoor summer programme initiated by artists Bertjan Pot, Maurice Scheltens and Liesbeth Abbenes.

On Saturday 26 July, Kloosterboer will be present on the Voorlinden grounds and create site-specific works in direct engagement with the surroundings and the public.

The Kite Club sessions are open to the public and provide a unique opportunity to witness artists working live in dialogue with their surroundings.

I ❤️ New Work is on view at Museum Voorlinden until 7 September 2025.  Kite Club runs from 19 July to 3 August, with Kloosterboer participating on 26 July.
